Vielight Neuro is a non-invasive photobiomodulation (PBM) device that uses near-infrared light and has been studied in several areas of brain health, including Parkinson’s disease.
It was a small study of people with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease completing a 12-week PBM protocol that included the Vielight Neuro Gamma along with intranasal, neck, and abdominal PBM. Researchers reported statistically significant improvements in measures of mobility, cognition, dynamic balance, and fine motor skills, with some improvements maintained during continued home treatment for up to one year. No treatment-related side effects were reported.
Important: The Vielight Neuro is a general wellness device and is not FDA-cleared or approved to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, prevent, or manage Parkinson’s disease.
